The Mask
The story takes place in Edge city .The main characters are Stanley Ipkiss, a man who finds a mask of Loki; Dorian Tyrell, the antagonist; Amy Yasbeck, the reporter; Peter Riegert and Jim Doughan, two police officers; Charlie, the Stanley's bestfriend; Niko, the boss of the maphia; The psychiatrist and Tina, the Stanley's girlfriend. The film was directed by Chuck Rusell.
Stanley Ipkiss works at an Edge City bank. He is a bullied by nearly everyone around inclouding his boss Mr. Dickey. His only friends are his dog (Jack Russel Terrier) "Milo" and his co-worker Charlie. Mean while, ganster Dorian Tyrell operates a night club called "The Coco Bongo" while plotting to overthrow his boss Niko, Tyrell sends his singer girlfriend Tina Carlyle into Stanley's bank to recors its layout, in preparation to rob the bank.
Stanley is attracted to Tina and she seems to reciprocate. After being denied entrance to The Coco Bongo, he finds a mysterious wooden mask. Placing it on his face transforms him into a zoot-swited, green-face, bizarre trickster known as the mask, who is able to cartoonishly alter himself and his surro undings at will. The transformed Stanley exacts revenge on some of Stanley's tormentors including the mechanics, and scares street gang that attemps to rob him by turning a balloon into a tommy gun. This mask transformed the life of Ipkiss and he achieves inspired love Tina.
I love this film because it is fun, interesting and creative. Dont miss it, it's a must. I definitely recommend it.
